Butterfly
2014 · Oil on Canvas
Dimensions (100 x 85 cm)
Collection: The Tunnel (London)
Butterfly is an oil painting inspired by colour and female sexual identity. With a focus on spirit and "white space" of meditative calmness (between the feet). The artwork would be slightly pornographic if it weren't for the absence of sexual organs...nothing is revealed and yet the body in this painting opens up to greet us in a very submissive yet strong pose.
