crime

Much of my work is rooted in leftist political ideology. This piece was made in response to a friend who was jailed and held under inhumane conditions for many weeks without access to a lawyer or contact with the outside, a common occurrence in Japan which has a rather archaic justice system. "Crime" is a word that is all-too-often used by the powers that be to control and manipulate society, with the police as their enforcers. It is up to communities to band together and fight back against social injustices and to create a better society for all, not the police who only seek to control and manipulate.
