Cultural Shapeshifter
2021 · Oil, transfer Medium on organza
Dimensions 200 × 100 cm
Collection: Supermarket 2021
The silhouette contains a few of the proofs of a heritage never allowed to materialise. It is put in context with the new identity forced through a geographical move. The luscious and flourishing vegetation shelters unmentioned scars and questions which the artist seeks to answer through this investigation of the past in the present. It is an ongoing survey throughout Iggstrom's art practice.
