Deer in a Monastery Garden

Franz Marc has said "Every color must say clearly who and what it is, and has to this on a clear form". The Primary colors of blue represented the spiritual within himself and masculinity, yellow represents the sun and femininity and red the passion, love and vulnerability. The deer is posed in the center of the garden at one with her surroundings while radiating purity and absolute harmony.
