Denizen of the Deep

This was because a friend of mine thought I had painted an octopus, but I hadn't, so I went ahead and did so with brush and watercolor. The depth of color is due to using multiple color gradients on the brush and letting them play out into the paper, so the tentacles were light purple to medium purple to a deep purple to get the shadows.
