Jason Paschal is Learning Asemic

Asemic writing has long been something the artist has been fascinated in and he often finds himself incorporating the "script" he invented for himself into many of his drawings, paintings and other works. This work is one of the few times he's worked to create pages filled with the indecipherable text. The artist looks at the act of asemic writing and thinks how long it might take for what begin as meaningless abstractions to eventually incorporate some meaning to the author of the writings; similarly, on a grander scale, its an interest of the artist to see how other nonsense imagery in the world eventually can take on a much deeper meaning.
