Monseñor Romero's Blessing

Commissioned piece for a newly married couple. This piece depicts Monseñor Romero, a civil rights activist in El Salvador during their bloody civil war. He was murdered for his work. He's a beloved icon in El Salvador for his use of theology and liberation (although he himself would not describe his work as theology liberation). I can't put into words what this person means and is. But my best comparison would be that he's like the MLK or even Malcolm of El Salvador.
