Mother of the Angels
1993 · mixed technique
Dimensions 80 × 60 cm
Part of the 'Motherhood' series, this painting is a reaction to the challenges of becoming a mother. Through the surreal representation, the artist channels emotions that accompany the nurturing of a newborn child: empathy, compassion and love. We are deeply grateful to Marta Widalska-Kiełbasińska for helping us to digitalise the painting.
