Shadow Rouge

What is the Shadow Ban? It's a censorship adapted to social networks, where you are censored without knowing it by an algorithm. This algorithm imposes moral codes linked to American puritanism, but internationally. Does an artist have to comply to these values? If he doesn't, can his career be lost? Could this affect his sales or his reputation? Constrain the artist in his choices ? One wonders if it is still relevant to exhibit female nudes. Was the nude in the history of art a long proof of patriarchy? Or al contrario, is it an infinity of Venus, these first representations divine in the buxom features of fertility goddesses? As a man, can I still paint a nude? If I do a male nude, is that gay art? Are robots already the curators of good morals? Are we not tempted to do today like the robots: censor without confronting? Oils in contemporary colors bring a Montmartre touch revisited for a virtual refusal fair. Faces in flat graphics are reminiscent of Picasso's Demoiselles D’avignon. Here the models are bored and shunned, in classic postures and backs shots borrowed from modern painting. Their bodies liquefy in graffiti as if today’s outrageous tags were in the nudes melting classical and contemporary issues. They continue to shock, maybe.
