2017 · Linocut Relief Offset Print on Paper
Dimensions (27.94 x 34.29 cm)
Hoping to create an image that was both carnal and violent, this linocut print was cut to vaguely resemble the head of some hereto unbeknownst creature consisting of a pigeon's eye, a woman's legs and a baboon's teeth: an imaginary creature built only for sex and violence. The artist tangentially related the linocut with old exploitation movies of the 70's and decided to slightly offset the print with red/blue ink to recreate the old 3D effect used around the same time.
