ARTIST STATEMENT My work today, is expressive figurative contemporary art most often based on the momentary feeling and mood. It's a reflection of a lifetime of unconscious inspiration and an ongoing creative practice. A universe of happy, dark, nonsensical and grotesque intuitions. I don't intend to deliver a specific message consciously, it is merely a reflection of a state of mind in the moment. It's an explorative experience to me, I rarely know the end result in advance. It is open to interpretation and the body of work is slowly but surely morphing into something new. A reflection of a mind and creative practise in constant flux with time. From a mind that has a tendency to question the norms, traditions and customs and just wants to have fun. BIO David is best known for his inner unfiltered child talking through his work. His work spans across several mediums. He uses hasty strokes, random details and an intuitive approach which renders an wide-reaching inimitable style. David is born in Kraków, Poland. His young mother fled to Denmark when he was 3 years old where they lived in refugee camps before settling. In 2008 the alter ego Custom Horror was established as he finally realized his calling. It was here he discovered his key to his flow which is now the basis behind his high productivity: "Just 15 minutes". David had his works stolen at his first exhibition ever. He ran an appraised and nominated coffeeshop & gallery called "Monster Times". He has curated many art shows, concerts and events. Works for clients across a broad spectrum of industries and is excited to see his own art tomorrow and in 10 years especially.
