There is a journey I am continuing through painting, into the heart of what it is to be human and as with most searches for understanding, if you go deep enough, you encounter mystery. My art is emotional, subjective and about the physicality of the body, connected to my love of dancing classical ballet. I love to work with oil paints and solvents, to take chances, capture images born in the moment. I am aware of the insights of the quantum world which reveal a secret dance of unseen energies – magnetism, the electrical activity of thoughts, emotions and neutrons. I grew up in London, studied art and dance at Brighton University, exhibited widely in England and now live in Andalusia, Spain. At present I am exploring painting portraits in the classical tradition and available for commissions.
