‘’Rituals’’ approaches the nature of man. Bodies lost in space in their search for meaning. Never before did we have so many options of what to do with our time, yet many feel a lack of opportunity to get where they feel like they should be. Berlin can be a place where people feel less societal pressure to achieve their goals, it can also come with the side effect of losing responsibilities in exchange for more personal freedom. Repetitive behavior, rituals, are the basis of a meaningful life for many but how do you structure your life if you feel like you can’t outgrow previous generations. ‘’Rituals’’ portrays people that Wewetzer has met in his time growing up in Berlin. It focuses mainly on people from the pornographic and alternative scene.
