From the ”City in squares” art series – a collection of 17 pieces in three different sizes, based on photographs from known locations in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally used as a military exercise field from 1672, the area later came to function as an Olympic training area and a landing field for airships, military, and commercial airplanes. Later, it came to be used to feed cattle from the royal stables. Today, a part of the area has been transformed into an urban surrounding with plenty of recreational space, often used for festivals and large outdoor events.
