Ripple 10
2018 · Acrylic on Canvas
Dimensions (45.72 x 60.96 cm)
Part of a series titled "Ripple" that uses color, line, shape, texture, design, and medium to elicit emotions from the viewer. Each piece in the series is influenced by a personal relationship with the design and color aspects of the work with the hope that the viewer reflects or responds in their own way to what they see. These responses can be any range of emotion and serve to show the impact these formal aspects have on our lives subtly and overtly.

About Nathaniel Kraft
My art process is driven by the desire to bring suppressed feelings, memories, and ideas to the surface through abstraction. Specific themes being explored in the work deal with personal and public space around family dynamics and individual growth.
