Taste of Death

A "goblin core" piece, painted with natural dyes sourced from plants and crushed beetles. Though both common subjects in goblin artwork, this fly perched in a perilous fashion on the very toadstool that would poison it, is a fascinating exploration of life and death. Does the fly wish for death, or does it dance with the concept to remind itself how it feels to be alive? Indeed, perhaps it is we who are the fly.
