Village

I was inspired by LS Lowry since a young age, at school he was the first artist my teacher made me study. This piece is an ode to him. During Lockdown 2020 I worked alot and walking the streets to work it was always empty making the streets more dull and haunting. Lowry painted through a time of depression, and I guess I was going through a time of depression myself during this period.
