Collection: Art Whisperer
One of several inner city landscape paintings by Egon Schiele while in the town of Český Krumlov. Schiele moved to Krumlov briefly in 1910 to get away from the artists in Vienna whom he claimed were jealous and even loathed him. Schiele left Krumlov only to return with his young teenage girlfriend Valerie (Wally) Neuzil however the couple did not take up residence long before being kicked out of the town due to their wild lifestyle and Egon Schiele's questionable pornographic artwork.
