The Gardens at the Sorolla Family House

Between 1916 and 1920 Joaquín Sorolla would enjoy periods of rest often spent at home garden painting for his own amusement. A series of paintings were completed covering his family gardens from all angles. This painting is one of the last that he painted before becoming ill later in the year which would prevent him from painting for the remainder of his life.
